US Army veteran, former TV reporter, and mom-to-be join Coldwell Banker

Star-News - 3/26/2021

Mar. 26—Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage recently welcomed Michael Braton, Casey Roman, and Desiree Sabo to its team.

Braton is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in mathematics, and is a United States Army veteran. Those experiences heightened his time-management and organizational skills and enhanced his results-oriented approach to real estate. He is with Coldwell's Wilmington office.

Braton, a father of two children who married his high school sweetheart, enjoys spending time with his family and serving the community through his involvement with his church, Nourish NC and the Children's Museum of Wilmington. He also enjoys surfing, fishing and golf.

Roman, originally from New Jersey, has lived all over the United States before settling in Wilmington in 2008. She is with Coldwell Banker's office in downtown Wilmington.

As a TV news reporter in Wilmington for 11 years, Roman earned awards for her investigative skills and developed an extensive knowledge of the area and the local market.

Roman is enrolled in the Historic Preservation Construction program at Cape Fear Community College.

A few of her pastimes include traveling to Black Angus farms to help deliver baby calves and teaching herself the cello.

A graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Sabo has joined the Carolina Beach office.

With a background that includes working in the fitness industry in a variety of roles, starting part-time at the age of 18 and ultimately rising to the position of vice president of operations, Sabo is a customer service expert with a thorough knowledge of marketing and sales.

The flexibility provided by a career in real estate has been important to Sabo, who is currently anxiously awaiting the birth of her second daughter. Spending time with her husband, whom she met in college, training and relaxing on the beach are some of her favorite pastimes.

Also, some of the causes that are most important to Sabo include multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's and cancer charities.
