BRIEF: Congresswoman Seeking Veterans' Stories, Photos

Oct. 06--Southwest Washington veterans are invited to tell their stories so they can be shared by Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Wash., online.

This is the third year the congresswoman will be posting stories and photos on her Facebook page and at herrerabeutler.house.gov through November.

"Our military servicemembers and veterans have sacrificed so much for our security and freedom," Herrera Beutler is quoted in a release. "As a member of Congress, it is my duty to serve these brave men and women by not only making sure our nation supports them as promised, but that we remember their stories and all they have done for us."

Submitters are also asked to include a brief description of the branch, title and assignment for photos and to be sure they have permission before sending materials.
