BRIEF: Cumberland County Veterans Court seeks volunteers

Sept. 14--The Cumberland County Veterans Court is looking for veterans to volunteer to help others in need.
The new court is designed to assist veterans who have legal trouble because of mental health problems or substance abuse.
Participants must have served in the military, have a clean criminal record and be available for training. Volunteers must be able to spend at least one hour a week to mentor a veteran.
Volunteers must be able to commit to at least 12 months in the program.
